For the first time in nine years of participation in the event, the Brazilian TV Producers stand will have an area dedicated exclusively to lectures. The main theme addressed will be the Brazilian audiovisual industry.
The delegation of Brazilian producers who will go to the MIPTV through the Brazilian TV Producers (BTVP), a project for exporting independent BRAVI audiovisual content in partnership with Apex-Brasil and the Ministry of Culture’s (SAv/MinC) Secretary of Audiovisual, has a series of activities scheduled for the event held in Cannes, April 7-10.
For the first time in nine years of participation in MIPTV, the Brazilian TV Producers stand will have an area dedicated exclusively to lectures. The main theme addressed will be the Brazilian audiovisual industry. Speakers will provide a panorama of mechanisms for financing and incentives, international co-production and Law 12.485, which brought new rules for the subscription TV sector in the country. This presentation is scheduled for April 7, from 10am-10.30am, and for April 8, at the same time. The RioContentMarket will also be the theme of a presentation held on April 7 (2.30pm-3pm) and April 8 (10.30am-11am). Information will be presented about the 2014 event, which was very successful, as well as some details about the edition for next year.
Two Brazilian channels, Curta! and TV Escola, will also use the space to present their programming lines. The channels are recognised as partners of Brazilian independent production. Curta! presentations will take place on April 7 (4.30pm-5pm) and on April 8 (11am-11.30am). TV Escola will make its presentation on April 7 (11.30am-12pm) and on April 8 (3.30pm-4pm). The get-together with the traditional caipirinha will be held on April 8, from 5pm-7pm, at the BTVP stand (P1-A89).
